Pythagorean Theorem

This webquest will help you meet the following outcomes of the Mathematics Foundations 10 course:

 D14    Apply the Pythagorean Theorem
 E 7      Demonstrate an understanding of a proof for the Pythagorean Theorem.

You will be required to complete paper and pencil tasks, visit interactive websites to demonstrate various proofs of the Pythagorean Theorem, and watch videos which explain the Pythagorean Theorem and its application to real-life problems.

You may work with one other person. All work will be completed as a team effort and will assessed as such. You will pass in assigned work, where indicated in the various activities, as a team.  The final activity is found in the Conclusion section of this webquest.

Before beginning any of the activities do a quick run through this webquest to make sure you understand what you are to do and how you will be assessed as well as to familiarize yourself with the various activities.
