Gospel and Spiritual

Find a partner and work together all through this webquest. Follow the steps given in the "Task" menu. The steps will tell you which resource you can use to fulfil each task. You work together with your partner, but each of you has to take his own notes, write his own texts and gives them to the teacher when you have finished. The only exception from this is the timeline that you have to create online together, save on the website and in the end present to the other students.

Throughout this webquest, you will have to transcribe lyrics of a gospel song, fill in missing words of other songs, take notes and then write a short summary in English, and finally create a timeline - enjoy your work!

If you finish early and still have some time, feel free to look for other gospel music or spirituals and tell your teacher (or take down notes) which singer / song you liked.
