The Plant Cycle - Stage 1 germination
Process
1. Students will be able to define what germination is at the end of the video.
2. Students should be able to identify the conditions necessary for germination after visiting the following sites below. See the link below.

3. Students will select one of the conditions necessary for germination and conduct an experiment.
Use the following materials to help you:
- Seed (red peas)
- Newspaper
- Plastic cup
4. Students will use the information gathered from the research and the experiment conducted along with photographs taken in the period of experiment to create a PowerPoint presentation on why the conditions researched are necessary for germination to take place.
