I. About Us

     TechWorld Philippines Computer Store and Service Center was established in 2010 as a retailer of IT products, and service center for computers and gadgets. Due to the company's dedication to work and high quality service, its expansion sky-rocketed from a single store to 300 stores nationwide. This vast expansion simply shows the company's good quality of work for its customers, and that it gained the trust of many business companies resulting to numbers of franchises nationwide.

II. Standard Operating Procedures

     Since the company is dedicated to giving the best output and service to its customers, TechWorld Philippines Computer Store and Service Center wants its workers to exemplify discipline, dedication to work, honesty, loyalty, and courtesy to customers. With this, a TechWorld Philippines employee must:

  • Be Punctual. A good worker is one who comes to work on time and one who submits requirements on time. Please refer to the first link below to have a copy of the company's log sheet in partnership with GreenBlue.com . 

  • Be Disciplined. Since one of TechWorld Philippines' services is to repair computer and gadgets, its workers must take care of the tools and equipment such as hand tools to avoid accidents.

  • Be Responsible. After using the tools and equipment, workers must clean the tools before returning them in their proper places     because clean tools and equipment is as important as doing work properly.

  • Be Courteous. The customer is always right. Workers must do what the customers want them to do. Also they must always show courtesy because this is the best characteristic of a worker.
III. Job Function of Newly Hired Employee 1

     You are hired as an inventory and customer care staff of the TechWorld Philippines Computer Store and Service Center and one of your task is to maintain the flow of incoming and outgoing information and pending services. You must encode the concern/s of each customer and include the services to be done before sending it to the Repair Department. It is important that you execute your job properly to avoid delays on your work. You are also responsible for checking the tools and recording if there is something missing or damaged, and reporting to the Inventory and Customer Care Director should these instances happen.

  •  The new delivered items are here. What are the questions you need to ask to the delivery man before you accept the                delivered products? 
  • How are these  questions helpful to you as a  employee of this company?
  • Input the delivered items on your downloaded inventory report sheet below. (no. 2)

  • You saw your co-worker in the company sleeping in his work. How could you help in improving the performance of your                   co-worker?
  • What could be the possible outcome of the performance of your co-worker if he/she will continue this habit?
  • What new set of safety workplace procedures can you suggest to the manager and address to the owner? Be guided with              the sample and refer to this link below:

     Job Function of Newly Hired Employee 2

     You are hired as a computer technician of the TechWorld Philippines Computer Store and Service Center and your job is to repair and fix computers and ensure that it is functioning well before returning it to the owner. As a computer technician, you must know how to use hand tools and equipment properly. Also you must fill up the service slip by stating what is the findings/diagnosis on the malfunctioning item, and stating what processes have been done including what parts are replaced and repaired for easy monitoring. You must also ensure that the tools and equipment are cleaned and properly kept before and after work.
