The four Seasons

Process

First of all, you are going to be divided into groups of four.

As you already know, you are going to work on four tasks, about:

  • the temperature of the different seasons
  • the changes of nature because of the seasons
  • the different types of clothes that we wear during the four seasons
  • the food that we find in each season

Now, this is what you have to do about each and every point mentioned above:

    Temperature

  • You have to find some information to describe how the temperature is during spring, summer, autumn and winter.                                                                                                                                                                                                              e.g. Is the temperature cold / warm? Is it sunny? Is it cloudy? Is it windy? Does it rain often?

       Nature

  • We will give each group a picture of a tree. You have to guess how the tree will look in each and every season. Then you have to draw the same tree on four  different papers. The drawings of the tree have to show how you think the tree will look in all four seasons.

      Clothes

  • Since in your group there will be four members, each member of the group will have to find an outfit which we wear either in spring, summer, autumn or winter. Then you have to take a photo of each and every group member wearing those particular clothes (either for spring, summer, autumn or winter).

      Food

  •  In this task, you have to find pictures of food which we find in each season. You can find pictures from the Internet, from magazines or you can even draw them. You should find at least five different food items for each season. Then, you have to stick the pictures on a chart.

So this means that by the end of this week, you should bring to school:

  • some information about the temperature on all seasons
  • four drawings of four trees (one for each season)
  • four pictures of four outfits (one for each season)
  • if you want you can also bring the same outfits to school
  • a chart including five pictures of food of each season (you should have twenty pictures in all)

You may start working NOW! Good Luck! :)
