You will work in a group of 3 or 4 students. In this task, you are allowed to form your own members and do not forget to name your group. Please bear in mind that this is a group task. You have to work as a team and show respect to each other. Remember, your team will be able to produce a good piece of work if all members participate and work together. 

Read the instruction carefully and follow each step one by one. Please take notes that the information that you gather will be used for your mind map construction of Reuse, Reduce and Recycle (3R) and your scrapbook.


Step 1:

To begin your task, you and your group members have to find the information and gain fully comprehension about our topic. Explore these sites below to get whole overview about Reuse, Reduce and Recycle (3R).

Step 2:

Now, you and your group members have gathered some information. Hope you get the whole overview of this topic. You may participate in these 3Rs quizzes to test your knowledge.

Step 3:

You and your group members will now brainstorming the ideas and information that you get from the website and draw a fantastic mind map of 3R: Reuse, Reduce and Recycle.
Click here to start creating your mind map. Save your mind map as an image file. (please refer to your teacher)


Points to ponder:

(a) Use suitable information that you have collected.
(b) Your mind map should include suitable title as well as the content.
(c) You may want to put pictures and other relevant points as well.

Each group will present mind map in front of the class for about 3-5 minutes. Keep your mind map in record as you will reuse it on the next task.



Step 4:

Your end task is a scrapbook project.
Using information that you and your team members have gathered during the first process, it is now time to apply your knowledge. Please use all the information as you will be working in a team to produce a scrapbook. The scrapbook is important because it will be build based on your team comprehension towards this topic.


The scrapbook should include:

(a) Name of each team members
(b) Title of the team's scrapbook, e.g: Be Green!. Remember, the title is your team's decision. Please do some brainstorming and ask your teacher once you have decided a title.
(c) Introduction. This should cover facts or story or actual event that relates to your topic.

(d) Provide suitable content and it should be within the Reduce, Reuse and Recycle topic areas. Use your own creativity.
(e) Image is allowed, but do remember to get it from used materials, e.g: magazines, newspapers, brochures, flyers, etc.
(f) On the last page of scrapbook, each member shall write their brief  individual opinion or suggestion on a recycle.

Remember to include your previous mind map in your scrapbook. T
he most important thing in this project is the teamwork.
Please take note that you and your team members have ONE month to accomplish the final task. Please submit your  scrapbook to your teacher supervisor
