Welcome to time stop #4. During this time stop, you will be discovering that anyone who trades, has to benefit from the trade. For example, any time you trade, you trade for something you want or need and benefit. In order to apply this knowledge, you will be studying what native americans traded, why they traded, and you will be able to explain how they benefited from their trading.

Consider this important question: Why does everyone who trades have to benefit from the trade? Can you think of an example where this is true? Can you think of an example where it is not true?

You will research what native americans traded, who they traded with, and how they benefited from their trading using the provided website links.

Next, you will make a three column chart. In the first column, you will list items native americans traded. In the second column, you will list who the native americans traded these items with, and in the third column, you will list how the native americans benefited from each trade. An example 3 column chart has been provide, but remember to be as creative as you wish and make your chart visually appealling. You may make a chart on the computer as the example showed, or you may make a chart on poster board that has been provided in the classroom. See the Trading table self assessment checklist in order to make sure you meet all of the necessary expectations for this assignment. If you think your assignment needs improvement, or you left out certain elements after self assessing, just go back and revise your chart in order for it to be it's best.

When you have completed this trading chart, it will go in your final time machine portfolio.
