Choosing the Perfect Dog

You have wanted a dog since you were a little kid, but your parents have always said, 'No!'  Well, now they have changed their minds.  However, your parents want you to  learn about the characteristics of some of the breeds you like.  They want you to choose three very different breeds so that they can make the final choice from the three breeds you have chosen.  They want you to choose a big dog, a middle sized dog, and a small dog and to learn as much as you can about each of breed, including the history of the breed and what the dogs were expected to do.
