HELLO STUDENTS

I want to introduce you to your online space that you will be working in. The name of this online space that you will work in is called WebQuest. Your role in this WebQuest is not only to be students but also to be explorers, superstars, and researchers. You will be able to access this website at any time, however you are required to complete all tasks on time and appropriately.

Have you ever thought about the reason your name has to begin with a capital letter? Or why does the name of specific persons, places, animals, things, or ideas must begin with a capital letter? Did you notice that that any at all that the word girl and boy do not begin with a capital letter but a common one?
We call these proper and common nouns. Common nouns are common names of persons, places, animals, things, ideas, or events. All common nouns start with common letters unless they begin the sentence, some examples of common nouns are; girl, country, toys, fruit, child, town, day, car. Proper nouns on the other hand are nouns that name specific persons, places, animals, things, ideas, and events. They also start with a capital letter, it does not matter where in the sentence or story they are, some examples of proper nouns are; John, Ella, Philippines, Lego, Banana, San Fernando, Honda, Tuesday.
