Introduction
In this lesson, students will research the major Philosophes or philosophers of the Enlightenment period, also known as The Age of Reason, and their influences in the drafting of the United States Constitution. Supplemental materials for the assignment have been posted to the class bookmarking site. Each student will prepare an end-of-lesson presentation to the class.
