Introduction
This Web Quest will give you a great opportunity to get yourself ready for your Freshman Year.
These are technology tools you will use throughout the school year,
so be sure to get them completed and be somewhat familiar with them.

High School requires more from you than all your previous school experiences.
More than anything else you MUST be able to PROBLEM SOLVE!
Asking to the teacher to fix or figure out a problem is not acceptable.
You are responsible for getting your high school credits.
You are responsible for keeping up with the work for each of your classes.
You are responsible for knowing and correctly using the various SYSTEMS
that have been set up for you in EACH of your classes.

Keep the following in mind.
How to SURVIVE HIGH SCHOOL & LIFE:
LISTEN.
Follow DIRECTIONS.
Short Cuts usually get you lost.
KNOW YOUR PURPOSE
Have minimum distractions.
Cause minimum distractions.
HAVE A PLAN
Have a SYSTEM for ORGANIZATION.
Create ROUTINES.
BE AWARE
KNOW your grade in each class at all times.
YOU figure out how to better your grade if needed.
Above ALL ELSE
PROBLEM SOLVE!
Try every possible solution that you can find.
Ask at least 3 friends for help if you have gone
through ALL possible solutions of your own.
Ask an authority.
