Google Maps
I have paid to be able to add Google Maps to my webquest. I can't seem to make my map show up. I read through the forum and can't seem to find where I am supposed to give permission for that to happen.
Can you please point me in the correct direction?

It is not your fault. Google very recently updated its map API (website integration tool). We are waiting for Google to release their API control access. After the release, your maps will automatically appear. As you can see, the updates are working already.

Is there an expected date for this update by google? I know those often don't actually happen on time, but am I looking at days or years?

The updates are already in progress. You should see your map automatically updated by now. Please let us know if you have any problems on your googlemap activity.
