Welcome: The Anatomy of Shakespeare
Description: Despite being one of the most well-known writers of all time, Shakespeare poems and plays are complex to say the least. This WebQuest will enable students to learn in depth about a specific work from William Shakespeare where they will respond to a prompt from one of his plays or poems of their choosing. The students will construct a thesis statement based upon either a play or poem and a write a subsequent essay on one of two topics based upon their selection of poem or play. They will use resources to provide background and evidence for their arguments. They will construct their arguments with evidence to back it up into cohesive statements which they will present either as a PowerPoint or poster.
