Description:
This cooperative, project-based, web quest investigates the awesome diversity of Alaska's five main regional areas through the five strands of social studies: Geography, American & World History, Government, and Economics. This Web Quest is designed for a five days of instruction, not including group presentation at the conclusion of the quest. Groups will investigate and compile information related to their assigned Alaska region in the area of: people, cultures, ecosystems & geographical features, historical influences, and government.
Grade Level: 3-5
