My Hero

Welcome: My Hero
Description: "My Hero" web quest is based on a global educational project designed by Margaret Dean, a teacher of the International Education and Resource Network, iearn.org. She was the one whose idea was implemented in many school curricula all over the world as an example of PBL (project-based learning). I decided to use the idea for the web quest as the one for the ESL/EFL students of upper-intermediate and advanced level. It is interesting to learn about the definitions different people give the word "hero". That is why I think this idea is very good for the development. In my personal opinion one can be a hero as long as he/she can acknowledge the heroism of others.
