Welcome: Safety In the Shop
Description: This Webquest is to inform and teach students on proper safety procedures of being in the shop. Horse playing is not allowed beyond this point or serious injury may occur to those less fortunate. This webquest is here to inform and keep everyone safe with in the shop. After completion of this webquest students should be able to roam free and safe in the shop with out a worry of getting hurt. This webquest is useful for those in entry level Ag mechanic classes, those in which are new to the shop atmosphere and maybe have never been around hand tools or heavy equipment. This is to get students and those unaware of the shop environment comfortable for them to work and advance their skills. CTE standards: B1.1 Practice the rules for personal and group safety while working in an agricultural mechanics environment B1.2 Integrate accepted shop management procedures and a safe working environment.
