Description: Welcome to your Plan of Care WebQuest for NURS 346. In this assignment you will meet your patient John Cummings, a 42 year old male patient who has been in an automobile accident. He has a past medical history of type II diabetes. He has sustained multiple internal injuries in a motor vehicle accident and had surgery to repair a lacerated liver. You will review the information pertaining to his care. You will create plan of care and prioritize interventions for your patient. You will create an educational tool for the patient and family members describing the risks and benefits of a blood transfusion. Finally, you will create a dialogue to explain the plan of care patient including risks and benefits of a blood transfusion. You can use any medium you prefer (written, audio, visual) and you can collaborate with your classmates. You may be as simple or creative as you would like. If you are collaborating with classmate(s) you will need to upload an individual submission and a reference page.
