Description: Students will learn background information to prepare them for reading The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald. There will be examination of historical, political, and social background information that was prevalent during the time period. While learning the culture and context of the 1920’s, the figurative language, and symbolism that makes the script so exciting and entertaining this webquest will take you on the journey and provide you with the scaffolding that you need to understand the reading of the Great Gatsby!
