Description: Students will build content specific knowledge about the banking industry. Banking services include borrowing, lending and related activities that help with economic production, distribution, and exchange and consumption wealth. We frequently store our wealth in banks—one of the safest places. Banks offer money savings tools for financial decision making and guarantee will be secure up to a certain amount. Basic knowledge of the operating structures of banking is a salient part of handling personal finances, especially as it pertains to loan/deposit ratios (i.e., holding on unproductive capital), loan consolidation, mortgages, credit, etc.
