The Silver Sword is a story about the Balicki family who were separated by the Germans from their home in Warsaw, Poland in 1940 because of the Nazis war and their journey to reunite as a family. The major characters in the novel are Joseph, Margrit, Ruth, Edek, Bronia and Jan.
