Welcome: Nothing Besides Remains: The Fleeting Nature of Time
Description: Nothing lasts forever. No empire remains untouchable. No man in immortal. All these ideas explore the fate of history and time, a concept that many of us struggle to understand and deal with on a daily basis. As men fall into decay and oblivion, so too do their empires and their memories. The construct of time and its inescapable nature is a theme that runs throughout various courses, including Literature, Social Studies, Science, and even Math. This Webquest is designed to provide students with a more in-depth look at how literature can teach us about how humans deal with the abstract concept of time.
