Welcome: The Emotions and Experiences of WWII: Did people understand the Gravity of the time they were living in?
Description: This webquest is to delve deeper into the emotions and experiences of individuals on all sides of the conflict throughout the time period of WWII. This site's goal is to help the learner get a better grasp on if the individuals living in that time period understood how epic the time they were living in was. Did people understand that the events they were living through would shape the 20th Century culturally, financially, militarily, and ideologically.

    Description: Description: This is a link to America's 3 founding documents: The Bill of Rights, Declaration Independence, & US Constitution. These are included due to America's heightened influence culturally and ideologically following the successful defeat of the Nazi and Imperial Japanese.

  • "Loose Lips Sink Ships"
    Description: Description: This is a source giving soldiers a code of conduct in regards to relaying information to family and friends. Notice how important and wide-scale WWII was that each man had to be careful with the information they shared through their letters. So, soldiers letters home had a code of conduct to follow. The title says it all, and the responsibility to safeguard military information laid on the shoulders of everyday people.
