**Welcome:** Monster Math: Design a 3-D Printed Math Fractions, Counting, or AdditionGame

**Description:**
This is a problem based STEM STEAM Unit where students are asked to become an educational Toy Maker. Using the engineering design process, student teams collaborate to create a Math learning device, rules of the game, and a Math Monster focusing on a specific math skill. Math skills are standards based skills. Student teams use an online STEM Notebook, online 3-D Design software to design prototypes. Ultimately students arrive at a series of 3-D Printed devices that teach a math skill for game players. For the student designers, each designer practices finding equivalent fractions by making them in their design, or counting to 10, or one of several other discrete math skills.
