Description: Cyberbullying is a significant issue in today's school environment. Students use social media to emotionally and mentally break down another students' self-esteem. This problem is rising, and not enough students are known to the effects and the basic facts of cyberbullying. Students, especially in junior high and high school, are struggling with this social media issue that causes many terrible consequences to the victim. Cyberbullying prevention is essential to teach in grades 9-12 because students need to understand that cyberbullying is very dangerous to those who use it upon other people. Therefore in this WebQuest, students will research information about Cyberbullying and: 1. How it effects the victims emotionally, physically and mentally. 2. How to spread awareness throughout the local community. 3. How to notice cyberbullying taking place. 4. How to decrease the statistics for cyberbullying.
