Welcome: Predictions with Lines of Regression
Description: Linear equations describe a relationship between two variables. This relationship is characterized by a constant slope, or constant rate of change. Scatter plots (x,y) can be fit with a linear equation called a "line of regression" in order to make observations on overall trends and to make predictions. The goal of this WebQuest is for you to use Desmos to make scatter plots and corresponding lines of regression. You will also make predictions and determine how well your line fits atmospheric altitude and temperature data.
