Welcome: Mosquitos and Public Health: Prevention for The General Public
Description: This WebQuest focuses on the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases. Students will work both independently and in groups of three to come up with a list of the ten best practices for mosquito bite, or mosquito-borne illness prevention. Each student within the group of three will be assigned a special area of focus. These areas are safety, efficacy, and cost. They must individually make a list of the 10 best tips or practices for mosquito bite or mosquito-borne diseases prevention within their respective area of focus. After this, the students must come together as a group and combine their lists while weighing the pros and cons of each action to make a final list of 10 best tips. The students must also explain why they ordered their list in this manner.
