Welcome: Cashmere High School Buy a New Car
Description: Students will use online resources to manage a monthly budget, shop for a car, compare interest rates/loan options, and ultimately "buy" a new car! Applied concepts include percents, decimals, and loan interest. Students will use critical thinking skills to make purchasing decisions based on these concepts. Students can work independently and/or in groups. Unit can be modified to take between 3 to 5 days. Adaptable for grades 6-12th.
