Welcome: Knights and Ladies of the Golden Horseshoe
Description: This webquest highlights the Exploration of Governor Alexander Spotswood in Western Virginia. It also introduces students to West Virginia's Golden Horseshoe test and award which is given to 8th grade students each year. Students will be given biographical information as well as primary source documents. Students will also find information to help them study for the Golden Horseshoe Exam which is given to all 8th graders in West Virginia each March.
