Description: Arizona voter participation is historically low when compared with the national average and that of other western states. Although Tucson ranks higher than the state average, a dramatically low participation rate in recent local and regional elections is more significant in a presidential election year. What does this mean for you? Decisions are made on your behalf whether you take an interest in them or not, but if you choose not to vote on them, you must accept that you are also choosing someone or something else to decide what is best for you.
