The Quest of a Lifetime

Welcome: The Quest of a Lifetime
Description: Miguel de Cervantes lived during the time of Shakespeare and was as popular, if not more popular than Shakespeare was in Spain. There was a time when Cervantes was captured and jailed by the soldiers of the Spanish Inquisition for performing in the town square. In prison, Cervantes came into contact with murderers, rapists, thieves and other heinous criminals. He was petrified. He was NO criminal. In an attempt to stave off his fear and to distract the criminals, Cervantes decided to perform for the criminals. These performances eventually became part of one of the greatest books of all time, Don Quixote de la Mancha.
