Welcome: Civil Rights...As Seen Through the Eyes of a Child
Description: This WebQuest is ideal for the upper elementary grades being introduced to the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s. Students will work in groups to explore three aspects of the Civil Rights Movement: the Montgomery Bus Boycott, The Little Rock Nine, and The March on Washington. Together they will write their own work of historical fiction from the perspective of a child living during the Civil Rights Movement.
Grade Level: 3-5
