Welcome: MA201 Safety
Description: This segment of MA201 will utilize the internet as a technological learning aid is titled, shop safety. All maintenance facilities, shops, managers, and technicians are concerned with shop safety practices. All shop managers and technicians must have some background understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. Working in pairs or for larger classes in small groups, the students will conduct a WebQuest that 1) will identity the major safety issues within the industry, 2) classify the major causes of accidents that result in bodily injury, and 3) demonstrate how best practices are used to reduce workman compensation claims. The results of the WebQuest will produce at least three peer reviewed articles that will be used to inform the class
