Description: River Valleys are called the "Cradle of Civilization." These civilizations are known for their fertile soil and access to sea trade. The Nile in Egypt, the Tigris and Euphrates in Mesopotamia, the Indus in the Indus Valley, and the Huang He in China, were all river valleys which fostered the development of advanced civilizations in these regions.
