Description: Computer games are one of the most popular form of entertainment. However, if left unchecked, gaming can become an addiction. In fact, more than 8 in 10 young students in Singapore who are addicted to video games remain hooked for two years. This is from a 2 year study of more than 3000 students, published by the American Academy of Pediatrician. According to Touch Cyber wellness, the number of gaming addiction cases they have counselled have also increased by 40% from 2009 to 2010.This web quest aims to educate students the harms and prevention methods of game addiction, and equip students with the correct mindset towards gaming.
