Personal Statement
Description: I am currently working through my Master's Degree in Sports Management at the University of Indianapolis. While working through my degree, I have worked as an Assistant Golf Professional seasonally for three years now. In my role as an assistant at Woodland Country Club, I have acted as the Ladies and Junior Golf Director with the supervision of Head Golf Professional, Patrick White. Through my time at Woodland, I believe all my skills are transferable to positions in many other industries. I work put in countless hours during the golf season, provide outstanding customer service and possess a very zealous attitude towards our members. It is very enjoyable for me to take the time everyday and converse and really listen to each member I can. In any position, I believe this skill is very transferable and is especially underrated. While I enjoy the golf business, I have long term career aspirations to teach at the college level. However, I understand to be a successful teacher in the sports management realm it is very beneficial to have experience in many different areas before settling on teaching. In the near future I will begin looking to further my career in the sports industry in whatever capacity that may be.

Ladies Interclub Scoreboard
Description: We hosted two ladies from seven other private clubs in the Indianapolis area. Interclub travels between clubs throughout the summer and a traveling trophy is won at the end of the season.

Guest Day Member/Guest List
Description: Similarly to the Ladies 9 Hole League, Woodland's Ladies 18 Hole League sponsors a Guest Day as well. The attached document is a Guest List I created that went in every cart and gave the ladies a reference sheet for who is playing.

Embroidery Form
Description: Our largest tournament of the year; The Swinger Invitational, is a men's member/guest that is hosted on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The gift this year was a Peter Millar shopping experience, in which they could choose apparel and we had it locally embroidered. This form allowed us to seamlessly have members and guests go through the experience.

9 Hole Guest Day Rules
Description: Our 9 Hole Ladies League sponsors one guest day a season and they choose different themes every season. This year, they chose to celebrate Indiana and I created a rules sheet that went on to every cart.

Description: --Perfectionist/Attention to Detail: I hold myself (and others) to very high expectations and standards. In the pictures of the Peter Millar Experience for The Swinger Invitational below, it took a few tries to get this set-up in a way I believed to be efficient and have clean, straight lines. --Hard Working: please see the schedule below. Even though those hours were posted, I ended up working 83 hours for the six days of our largest tournament of the year. --Organized: Strong believer in a list and tackling those objectives before moving on to others. I constantly have a list of three important objectives before the day and will not leave work or stop on a project unless it is handled --Listener/Social: Many of our members would say I am very personable and try very hard to talk with each of them daily --Punctual: I pride myself on being early and working well past my hours assigned to ensure a job is done correctly --Willing to learn: I understand in every position or even on a daily basis, I will encounter others that know more than myself. Taking the time to listen and learn is a very good use of my time.
