Geometry Rocks!

Welcome: Geometry Rocks!
Description: This is a comprehensive unit that addresses first grade geometry standards. Students will gain mastery in defining attributes such as color, orientation, and size; compose two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes; and partitioning shapes into halves and fourths (quarters). This webquest offers several resources for teachers to guide formative assessments and mini-lessons. At the end of the unit students will be ready to construct a structure of their choice out of learned shapes.
