Description: Although there are several professional organizations; Local and State organizations, the focus for this web-quest will be on the NAEYC. All of these professional organizations whether at the local, state or national level offer direction and guidance to the teachers of young children. The benefits for belonging to a professional organization vary. After completing this web-quest, you will be asked to decide whether or not belonging to a professional organization is a valuable idea or not. You will be asked to validate your decision based on the information that you have learned from visiting each of the sites.
