Welcome: Exploring Poetry through Jamaican Music
Description: This WebQuest is designed for an eight grade English class. Its purpose is to help students get a greater understanding of poetry through examining the different elements such as mood, tone, rhythm, rhyme, and literary devices. Students will also learn that music is a form of poetry, and will explore how Jamaican music in particular can influence and inspire their own creation of this genre.
