Description: A pie chart is an excellent chart type that can be used when the relationship of the total parts is being illustrated proportionally to the whole. There are 11 different types of Microsoft Excel charts; each with subcategories. In this WebQuest functional uses of pie charts and the types of data that are best represented in a pie chart will be explored. Finally, internet research will be conducted to locate chartable information. The information will be entered an Excel spreadsheet and used to create a pie chart.
