Description: Welcome to a WebQuest about coordinates and the coordinate plane. Coordinates provide a way to describe our location in space, but not just our relative location (like "sitting in front of the computer," "three feet to the left of Brian," etc.). Instead, coordinates give our exact location in space according to the starting point, called "the origin." As you move along through this WebQuest over the next two days, you will learn how to use the coordinate system to find and/or describe a location in two-dimensional space. Enjoy the journey!
