Welcome: The One and Only Ivan
Description: Students are currently reading The One and Only Ivan. The book has sparked their interest in the mountain gorilla, an Endangered Species. They will use this webquest to research the mountain and lowland gorillas. They will research current conservation efforts to protect the gorilla population. Students will also research the real life Ivan, who spent the first half of his life living in a shopping mall in Seattle and was later relocated to Zoo Atlanta in 1995. Grade Level: 3-5
