Description: One of the most important, but too often ignored, practice health care workers can do for their patients is simply to treat them with just-washed hands. In this WebQuest, nursing students will learn the basics of hand hygiene & alcohol-based hand rubs. Students will also reflect on the alarming number of healthcare-associated infections blamed on the transmission of pathogens to patients via the contaminated hands of health care workers.
