Welcome: The Lives of Famous People [USED TO (DO), BE USED TO, and GET USED TO]
Description: In this WebQuest, students will: view online tutorials and a grammar chart that will help them learn the correct uses of USED TO (DO), BE USED TO, and GET USED TO; they will practice these expressions using online flashcards; and they will take an online quiz. Then, they will begin working with a partner to conduct research and create an "interview" with a famous person (dead or alive) using these expressions. They will save their work online, finish it for homework, and later present their interview in class. This WebQuest is designed to be used in a high school or college intermediate-level ESL/EFL class.
