Welcome: Time Travel Through History: You Are A Civil Rights Leader!
Description: Through this webquest students will learn about many Postwar United States Civil Rights Leaders. In the course of this lesson students will learn about how American History, World History, Civics/Government, Geography, and Economics played into their chosen civil rights leader's journey. Students will take on the role of a chosen civil rights leader and write an autobiography as if they were actually the historical figure. Students will work in a group to explore current events that are impacted by the changes made by civil rights leaders throughout history. During the course of this lesson students will complete a social studies packet.
