Welcome: Lucy Pomology Heads West
Description: Students will work in groups and have the opportunity to explore apple orchards across The United States which will take them on a mapping adventure. Students will then chart a variety of different apples and note the climate of the areas in which they grow. A timeline will be created to document when the specific types of apples were discovered. The final activity will cover the concept of how the transition of goods and services can be beneficial to others.
