Welcome: Discovering the Harlem Renaissance
Description: In this WebQuest, students will take on roles--such as Talent Agent, Politician, or Historian--and investigate the Harlem Renaissance from the personal level to the overarching historical context. They will encounter the literary art, personal biographies, political views, and historical events that came out of this time in American history. This WebQuest will work as an excellent introduction into any unit that approaches racial issues in America. It is also prepared in a manner which leaves it amenable to both Language Arts and History classes.
