The Thirteen Original Colonies

This webquest was designed for a third grade class. 

The purpose of the WebQuest is to engage the students in an exploration of Colonial America. 

Ideally the students should come away with an understanding of the many reasons that the colonies were founded and the varying reasons that people had for coming to the New World. 

 They should also gain an understanding of the value of the colonies to England and why England fought so hard to keep them under the Crown's Control.
