Why use this in my classroom?
This figurative language webquest is great for students in 3rd-5th grade! Many students struggle with understanding figurative language, especially when it is not taught in a fun and exciting way. This webquest will allow students to put the learning in their own hands and have a great time along the way.


Correlation to South Carolina Standards?
3-1.4           Distinguish among devices of figurative language (including simile, metaphor, personification, and hyperbole) and sound devices (including onomatopoeia and alliteration).
