Introduction

This lesson is meant to be used as part of a unit on life in Ancient Egypt. This WebQuest introduces students to the mummies made in Ancient Egypt. Students will begin by learning information needed to participate in more interactive activities later in the lesson. They will refer to several sites to answer questions. They will complete activities that go more in-depth as they progress. The culminating activity is an interactive mummy maker where they will be guided through the mummification process, making a mummy. The teacher will have to collect written answers in the first step, and monitor computer usage for active participating and completion for grading purposes.
