Standards

The Massachusetts Department of Education College and Career Readiness and Civic Preparation standards have a target of preparing all students for successful futures. The standards efforts are anchored in the following DESE goals:

1. Increasing the five year graduation rate
2. Increasing the MassCore completion rate
3. Increasing the number of students that enroll in postsecondary education
4. Reducing the number of students who enroll in developmental (remedial) coursework during their postsecondary educational experience
